Eligibility Criteria

1. The GSRTC Conductor

The conductor is the customer-facing ambassador of the bus. They manage the cash, coordinate the routes, map stops, and ensure passenger safety.

  • Education: Minimum 12th Pass (HSC) from a recognized board.
  • Mandatory Technical Credentials: You cannot just apply with a school certificate. You strictly require a Valid Conductor License issued by the Regional Transport Office (RTO) alongside a valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Age Limit: Generally between 18 to 33 years, with standard government age relaxations applicable to reserved categories.

2. The GSRTC Driver

  • Education: Minimum 12th Pass (HSC) or equivalent.
  • Mandatory Technical Credentials: A valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) or Heavy Transport Vehicle driving license is absolute.

  • Reserved candidates: Rs. 200/- (Inclusive of GST) + Payment Gateway Charges
  • Unreserved candidates: Rs. 300/- (Inclusive of GST) + Payment Gateway Charges

  • Driver – 25- 35 Years
  • Age relaxation is admissible as per rules
