Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: You must hold a Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized university.

The “Fresh Graduate” Bracket: Only candidates who cleared their graduation between January 1, 2022, and June 1, 2026, are eligible.

How to Apply?

1. NATS Registration: Prerequisite.

Go to the official National Apprenticeship Training Scheme portal (nats.education.gov.in) and register yourself. Complete your profile until it shows 100% completion to generate your unique NATS Enrollment Number.

2. Access the Application Gateway: Via NIACL Portal.

Visit the official NIACL website (newindia.co.in), go to the “Careers” or “Recruitment” section, and click on “Engagement of Apprentices 2026”. You will be redirected to the application portal hosted under the BFSI Sector Skill Council.

3. Fill out Details & Upload Documents: Form Submission.

Enter your personal, educational, and NATS enrollment details. Upload scanned copies of your passport-size photo, signature, and graduation certificate as specified.

4. Pay the Application Fee: Final Step.

Complete the application by paying the relevant fee online:

Selection Process

Phase 1: The Online Written Exam (100 Marks)

The computer-based test will last 1 hour and features 100 multiple-choice questions broken down evenly into four sections (25 questions each):

  • General/Financial Awareness
  • General English
  • Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude
  • Computer Knowledge

Phase 2: Regional Language Test

Once you clear the written cut-off, you will be tested on your ability to read, write, and speak the official language of the state you applied for.
